How to use this Sentence Counter?
- Input Text:
- Paste: Right-click inside the textarea and choose “Paste” to paste previously copied text.
- Type: Alternatively, you can directly type your text into the textarea.
- Count Sentences:
- After entering the text, locate the button labeled “Count Sentences” below the textarea.
- Click this button to count the sentences in the provided text.
- View Results: After clicking “Count Sentences,” the total number of sentences will be displayed below the button.
- If the sentence count is within the limit (less than or equal to 1000 sentences), you’ll see a message like “Total sentences: X,” where X is the number of sentences.
- If the sentence count exceeds 1000, you’ll see a warning message.
- Reset (Optional):
- If you wish to clear the textarea and the result, locate the “Reset” button next to the “Count Sentences” button.
- Click this button to clear both the textarea and the displayed result.
- Retry (Optional): To count sentences in a new piece of text, either clear the existing text manually or use the “Reset” button, and then repeat the steps for inputting text and counting sentences.
